It's difficult to do a pressure vac test on a 797 as the decomp valve has a hole going into the exhaust port which would need to be plugged.

Definitely reclean your points even if they are new. New points i clean with 1200 grit sand paper then rub clean white paper through them.

Because the original had thin metal around (.015" thick) on both sides, and we only needed it on one side without rivets, I had them...
