You mean structurally??? Did you leave the baffle in yours??

Removing the baffle makes the muffler weaker if that's important to you.

Just enlarge the holes…unless you port it.

Old thread, but did anyone find out if just leaving the baffle and enlarging the existing port is about the best you can do??

i remove the baffle and add 1 port for long bar and 2 ports for short bar

I measured the rim tonight at each of the seven points where it steps in. All checked the same.
