Not true. At idle no oil flows, as the clutch is not engaged. Yet temps still climb faster and higher then any outside temps.

But when running...the oil has somewhere to go that is desired and it is compelled to do so with a pump.

With no air bubble in the tanks there is no air to expand nor retract due to temperature changes! Just saying.
