    Plug for Echo Decompression Valve?

Well, I delayed this evening's planned project because I got curious, plus in the morning I have an appointment an hour away in a city that has a real hardware store. So I'm banking on them having the bolts I need... The 4910 and the 620's plugs are the same, and are M10x1.25 thread, according...

    Plug for Echo Decompression Valve?

Thanks, Simon. I've seen two part numbers for the Echo OEM plugs, 91155 and 91177, but no explanation of how they are different. It may be as simple as a different number of washers in the kit or something. I thought I'd see if anyone had a quick answer, otherwise for $15+ per kit I may just...

    Plug for Echo Decompression Valve?

Hello, folks, Does anyone know of a ready-made plug with gasket/seal washer to replace the decompression valve on Echo saws? Models are CS-4910, CS-620, and CS-7310, if that matters (I think they're all the same thread size, but am not sure). I know they're a different size than what Stihl and...

    The dogs of OPEforum

Yes, “a safe place to roam” varies by locality, most certainly. We live on a fairly large farm, so our pup never leaves our property. Being a beagle and prone to following her nose (sometimes into trouble) she also wears a Halo collar that uses GPS and corrective feedback to make sure she...

She's got a good life! It's nice for a dog to have a safe place to roam as they please. Fortunately our rural home allows our dog to do the same, but most are not that lucky.

So what did you do today?

I hate for animals to suffer, even ones I don't particularly care for (such as garden-munching groundhogs). You did the right thing. Compassion for a helpless animal is never the wrong thing, although it sometimes takes forms that we'd rather it wouldn't. Thank you for caring.

The Saga of My "Cheap" Used MS 201

I’d say your “mechanic” owes you for the cost of the initial mis-diagnosed work, especially since he told you the follow up work would be free and then changed his mind.

I could never trust my beagle with the window down. Matter of fact, she’s always clipped in to a short tether while riding, window down or not. They really do follow their nose, consequences be darned!

    $200 logger boot shootout

Standing on spurs and ladder rungs for any length of time will definitely let you know if the boot shank is well constructed or not!

I’m very sorry to hear that. I know how tough it is to lose a furry family member! My most sincere condolences.

So what did you do today?

Thank you. I'd read several places that folks will start a saw and let it idle for however many minutes, then cool, then repeat however many times. It never made sense to me to let a brand new saw idle for an extended period, but I'll be the first to admit I don't know everything. ;) On the...

So what did you do today?

Would you mind to explain your heat soak process, please? I have a rough idea but would appreciate your input.
