I think i have the mythical beast....
So for anyone who reads my posts you know i love mixing parts. That being said. This is a super 797L. However...i did make it. I used a cp125 clutch, clutch cover, starter, and flywheel. They would be the correct period parts but it did not start out...
+2. They work very well.
Ive found with several cork gaskets that if they leak, to drain the fuel out and leave it sit all night. Try again the next day. Sometimes they swell back up...sometimes you buy viton ones and stop worrying about them forever.
Unless they were stihl chains. Those are platinum plated, titanium cutters now. Atleast stihl feels that way i think. You still came in under a couple of them.
The sleeves mitch uses he buys from summit racing. Im unsure of the specs honestly. The transferrs he did make a template. I gave him more than one cylinder to destroy so he could get measurements and make jigs and templates from. The intake and exhaust are cut after fitting by a bridgport...
Youd be correct mark. That was actually the key peice. The lower av mount bracket both to the saw and the lower handle brace. If not for those 2 it would not have worked.

Not on a sp80, they were all black. Likely the tank was swapped out. Sp70 was all yellow with black air filter cover. Pm850 was all yelllow, the 800 was all yellow also.
A guy sure could paint a lot.of parts for $2500.00. Not knocking anyone for selling anything at all. I hope.he gets it. Ebay he will get awfully close. Looks great though.
