Did I mention that it leaks gas in the truck and SXS bed while transporting?
I've known mt dealer for a very long time. Took the FS80 with me yesterday. First thing he did was pulled the tip cord and said it had good compression. He said at min. it would need new fuel lines. filter and carb...
I have an FS80 that I bought.......don't remember how long ago. Probably at least 20 years.
It's been a good machine, I have a few different attachments for it, and it always enjoyed using it and it always did what I asked of it.
It started pulling this crap where I would need to adjust the...
I appreciate all of the comments and advice, fellas. Trust me, this thread was not intended to stir chit.
I just get so frustrated....................and seeing my friends lighting a husky in 3-4 pulls doesn't help much
By saying hard to start I mean: I have to pull the cord 10 to 12 times before it farts. Then a couple more til its running. I take a lot of crap from my friends. At about 4 pulls, they all start saying "Stihl pullin".
Most of them have Husky saws. They start in 3-4 pulls.
I have a variety of machines:
025 saw, stock. 026 pro, stock. 036 pro, modded. 462c, modded. 2 blowers. 1 string trimmer. I have run a wide varietry of fuel from 87 pump gas to av gas.
Thanks for the reply.
I'm not arguing with you, but I expected considerably more. Our local saw dealers sharpen "homeowner" chains for about $10/pop.
Here's a pic of a cutter for comparison beside a chain that I run on my 462.
I'm pretty sure the bar on the landing saw is 5 ft. long.
