    Stihl Pullin'

I appreciate all of the comments and advice, fellas. Trust me, this thread was not intended to stir chit. I just get so frustrated....................and seeing my friends lighting a husky in 3-4 pulls doesn't help much

    Stihl Pullin'

By saying hard to start I mean: I have to pull the cord 10 to 12 times before it farts. Then a couple more til its running. I take a lot of crap from my friends. At about 4 pulls, they all start saying "Stihl pullin". Most of them have Husky saws. They start in 3-4 pulls.

    Stihl Pullin'

I have a variety of machines: 025 saw, stock. 026 pro, stock. 036 pro, modded. 462c, modded. 2 blowers. 1 string trimmer. I have run a wide varietry of fuel from 87 pump gas to av gas.

    Stihl Pullin'

Disclaimer: I am a true Stihl fan, all my ope equipment is stihl. Why is a stihl so hard to start compared to other brands? It's embarrassing.

    Landing Saw Chain Sharpening Pricing

Thanks for the reply. I'm not arguing with you, but I expected considerably more. Our local saw dealers sharpen "homeowner" chains for about $10/pop. Here's a pic of a cutter for comparison beside a chain that I run on my 462. I'm pretty sure the bar on the landing saw is 5 ft. long.

    Landing Saw Chain Sharpening Pricing

What's the going rate for sharpening a chain for a landing saw? Ballpark........... The chains I am seeing have 96 drivers. Thanks
