That black coloring looks similar to what you'd see after heat treating steel to me. Weird that they have the same part number though. Did you try to clean the black coloring off to see if the Caber marking is there? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

You could also put some ramps for working on a car or truck on either side of your mill or build your own to get you to the right height if you don't need much more. Just a thought. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Picked up an 041 that a guy pinched in a tree right before the tree rolled onto the saw for 10 bucks. Clutch cover and handle mount is toast, but I haven't dug into the rest yet. Got 8 chains and a bent up duromatic with it.
