    Connection/running Issues 560xp

That’s a good amount of plugs  I suppose when millions are made there’s bound to be a couple that aren’t up to standard. I have them in all my kit as far as I know and haven’t had an issue, and I’ll continue to run them. Just a weird coincidence is all.

    Connection/running Issues 560xp

Finally an update on this lads, It turns out that I had a string of bad plugs and the final one I put in fixed the issues. Much learned and much relieved. Thanks for all your help 👍🏼

    Husqvarna 560xp mk2 - Thoughts?

Hi Lads, I’m looking into the 560xp Mk2 to update my main saw. I love my 560 Mk1 but I’m hoping to get my hands on a new one and I’m choosing between the Mk1 again or a Mk2. Has anyone laid hands on one? They’re supposed to be lighter, which is a big deal to me, but I’ll stick with a new...

    Connection/running Issues 560xp

@SimonHS Thats a great point, pressure test is next on my to do list 👍🏼 @Stump Shot Thanks for taking the time to write all that out for me man, I’m hoping to have time this coming week to lay into it some more, I’ll work through your checklist. The autotune system is something I’m only just...

    Ms390 Potential Air Leak?

Also, forgive my ignorance, is this little spring part of the exploded crank seal?

    Ms390 Potential Air Leak?

Well lads I had chance to look at her this afternoon. Monumental air leak in the crank seal on the clutch side, see picture of the remains. The carb passed pressure and vacuum no problem, I adjusted the metering lever a little and we’ll see how that get on when she’s back together. @hacskaroly...

    Connection/running Issues 560xp

I’ve just had a thought, I’ve recently started running Sta-bil fuel stabiliser in my saws due to the high ethanol fuel here in Ireland. Could that be messing me up? I’m probably around 15 litres into using it, primarily on the saw in question. Thanks in advance

    Connection/running Issues 560xp

This trick however, bought the saw to life finally, I don’t know whether I’d unstuck the needle when I was cleaning and checking it out (I didn’t see anything). But after reassembly and cranking it with the throttle open she coughed to life  She ran a little cranky so I set it to one...

    Connection/running Issues 560xp

Apologies for the delay in reply lads I was running a course this week and my mind was elsewhere, I stripped the 560 down last Friday to getting it working for this course. Here’s what I found… nothing of note  Cable under the Flywheel looked as good as new, as did all the cables...

    Ms390 Potential Air Leak?

Ahh I had no idea, I just liked the look of them, that’s pretty neat. It’s an aftermarket carb, although I’ve had good luck with the manufacturer in the past. Thanks @FederalQ

    Ms390 Potential Air Leak?

Hi Lads, I’m putting an Ms390 together to give to a buddy and it’s behaving strangely when I start it up. It’ll cough on choke and then start as normal, but it’ll then race without any throttle input. It doesn’t respond to any carb adjustments either as far as I can tell, it’s currently at 1...

    Connection/running Issues 560xp

Ahh that’s a fair point, I did every field repair trick I could think of except for that, it just felt like I’d left the coil disconnected and tried to start it, there was literally no response, but I’ll try that too when it’s back together Thanks @Brad Button 👍🏼 I’ll keep this thread updated...

    Connection/running Issues 560xp

Yeah it’s Mk1, I’m away for a week currently but I’ll look into that when I get back, it would be sweet if it’s that simple. I’ve had the flywheel off when stripping/cleaning recently but you never know. Thanks @Quzick 👌🏼

    Connection/running Issues 560xp

That’s interesting, I’m hoping for a simple solution naturally, but it’s handy to know how things might play out if I do need to take it further. It’s an excellent saw and has given no issues whatsoever until now, here’s hoping I can get it back on its feet. 🙏🏼 Thanks for that info @hacskaroly 👌🏼
