So are saying the white is the high output? Thanks for the help everyone. I rebuilt oiler and put hoses on and it has sat since Monday and has no oil under it.

I got my parts order today and Im putting the 6401 oil pump back together. The rebuild kit came with 2 output control bolts, one black and one white. Does anyone know which it the regular and which is the high output? They look identical to me except for the color. Thanks

Thanks for all help everyone. I have added the hose p/n 038 245 061 to my order. I will take it apart, clean, and use rtv. Hopefully that will take care of it. It is a great saw, just hate the mess. Any ideas on how to date this saw? Is 2006 possible for a Makita 6401? Thanks Again
