finished today I had to modify the smaller pipe a little because at my first try the angle wasn't that good and therefor the pipe was too close to the brake leaver, that's why it has an "ellbow" now. The mounting is a little bit tricky because the main pipe's dimensions is for the 48mm...

maybe at these big carbs this is a good modification because it lets the bigger part of the throttle flat and free, but I guess at these little 52cc carbs the construktion form with 2 screws and thick shaft blocks big parts of the throttle and isn't as streamlined as grinding the original shaft...

it's an Ironhorse pipe this guy did several tests and a summary for the math and Dyno Joe did some dyno tests with this type of short pipe, it's not the strongest muffler-mod but stretches the torque over a wide rpm range

Hello, are there any known issues with the G3120 and jumoing rpm at idle? I have two brand new and both are raising rpm when the machine is at the side

I played a little with the G7550 over the last weeks. muffler mod, custom ultra-thin base gasket, carb modified, cylinder ported. No it's a beast but stock it seems that the 75cc can't run propperly because of several limitations which come from the irogon 62cc design.

I see youre from Germany too. You can buy the parts for using an 372XP carb on the chinese G5000 chainsaw here on eBay

at the meantime a had a lot of port jobs on G5000 series chainsaws, 50cc, 58cc and 62cc Actually I do a little work on a 62cc model with 372XP carb I can't get to run propperly. The carb is not adjustable well, at this point I haven't figuered out the problem. Maybe an air leak somewhere, maybe...

some (EU?) models do have an catalysator inside which causes a lot of counter pressure AND heat, and all models have a diffusor inside looks like that. Some have a few big holes like ths one some have a few smaller holes

you have ported the dual ports as well? There is a guy on Youtube at UK which is porting these chinese saws very high and he swears on the dual ports but I am not sure he ever tested out the quad ports. But I think what he saying is right: the transfers of the quad are significant smaller then...
