Post up your ported cylinder Artwork

I couldn’t tell you why it looks like that. But it’s not thru the plating. This jug had light transfer on Exh side, I cleaned it then ran with new rings n slug for a tank or 2 before I decided to port . Here is a pic after cleanup before running and port work. I have seen it happen on a few...

So what did you do today?

It’s been working well. One issues was the rails bowed with weight of mill in the center. So I built some supports to help with that I hope. Will rivet nut onto rails with multiple adjustment hole based on log diameter. Just screw all thread down till it touches log for support. Hope to try it...

I know they are available for purchase, I know they are probably only $3, I know I spent way more in time making them. The good…. I didn’t have to go to my dealer and hear the same old stories. We don’t stock those, it will take a couple weeks, I’ll let you know when we place an order or that...

    Show off your muffler mods

Yea mig is tough on the pop can mufflers. .023 and run down hand fast keeping heat on the pipe. 1/16 SS tig can work same as er70s just really have to watch your heat.

To get rid of some more heat, both these 64’s that have your cylinders are ported pretty warm. On my work saws, I'll usually just run duals Silicon bronze tig, seems to work best for me as I have to tig a screen inside to keep FS happy.
