Believe it or not, my 500i is one of my hardest starting professional saws. I run both brands.

Depends on the size of wood. Personally, put me in the big saw, long bar camp. The best bang for the buck, to me, is the Husky 572 or 372 with a 32” bar. And this is coming from a guy with a 500i.

When it comes to firearms or chainsaws, want or need has nothing to do with it. At least that’s what I tell the better half. 😎

I would call the largest orchard in your area and see who they use. Around here it is pecan growers that use them the most.

You usually have to rent the operator with it.

@TheDarkLordChinChin How far up did you have to ream out the bar to fit the Husqvarna? In the process of doing that now.

Tree spade is the answer. You can rent them around here, but they’re not cheap. The only other option is lots of work.

Mill it and sell it. Custom Turkey call makers like it also.

There’s several YouTubers that explain what happens. They even do it and then how to straighten the edge back out.
