This may sound crazy but you could try going to a local health food store and getting some Oil of Wintergreen. It was suggested to me by a guy that used it to take kingpins out of heavy duty trucks and I used it to get a stuck injector out of an early model Duramax. It's the most aggressive...

EV's are hard to get people interested in. The owner said that this car has operated flawlessly with absolutely no issues. The dealer that he's trading it into said they want nothing to do with it and it's going directly to the auction. Something that took me by surprise on is that it has a...

Good morning! I did an inspection on an interesting vehicle the other day. 2022 Porsche Taycan EV. 600 horsepower with a quarter mile time of 10.5 seconds at 130 mph. The guy was trading it in for another vehicle. Original price $185,000 his best trade-in offer $62,000. Talk about taking a bath!

    HOMELITE Homelite Thread

Had a friend furnish me a parts saw a while back that gave me the incentive to put together a running 5-30.

Good morning! Still inspecting vehicles and tinkering on saws. Been making progress selling some saws to reduce the population. I'm working on making some Homelite's into runners. Just finished a 5-30. I'm three saws away from having runners of the first eight models that Homelite produced.

Good morning! Been a while but have been in contact with several of the guys outside of the thread. Always good to hear from everyone. Went to Joplin yesterday to inspect a Peterbilt for an extended service contract. Picked up a Mitchell chainsaw in Joplin and dropped off a McCulloch to Russell...

Good morning! Shipping off 3 more saws but acquired 6 more. So much for my reduction effort. This Homelite Super 2100 was in the bunch that I acquired. Hard to pass up a 114cc Homelite. Didn't take much to make it a runner.

I needed some room on the bench so I put a carburetor kit and fuel line on this Super 2100 to see how it would run.

Happy Independence Day! I've been reducing my non-Homelite and surplus Homelite chainsaw population. I actually for once have more going out than coming in................... barely 🙄.

HELP! Searching for an IPL or literature on Wright C70 saws

I've got a fair amount of paperwork from my near new C-70. If you see something useful to you message me and I'll copy it. Also let me know if you have any technical questions. I've done a crankshaft up rebuild on one. (I've got 5 C-70'S).

Good morning! Looking at a Kubota RTV400CI fuel injected side by side for a friend. Found a weak injector driver in the control module. The only way to get the control module is with the throttle body/fuel injector assembly for $1800. I decided to try the old Homelite "bake it in the toaster...
