Good morning!

Got another load of wood done. Mostly black walnut.

It burns clean and it's easy to light. Other than that it's nothing special, above silver maple but under locust/oak/walnut.

Smells kind of spicy. Burns faster and hotter than the other two with the stove closed up but it lights so incredibly easy! Crazy easy to split and I got 3 dump trailer loads to split. And then there's 2 loads each of black walnut and cherry, and endless oak.

And yet all the 500Is I know of out here are being beat to death, run by people that don't know what they're doing at 50:1 on Stihl ultra and just keep on going? The tree crew that dumps us logs loves them and boy do they live a hard life, dull overtightened chains and almost no maintenance...

I went over to our neighbors log pile today, 2 hours from when I let to when I got back and finished unloading and I got half a cord of sassafras, black walnut, and oak.

We had friends over that just left. Pretty well the one family that we get along with that isn't a hour away. Most kids around here are kinda creepy/disgusting, no work ethic and get spoiled by their parents.

This one did like 105 going off the tach.

Well I guess I just got lucky? Hot and cold starts perfectly, it does drop about 100rpm once you set it down but never dies and revs right back up. It's my boss's saw so I haven't run it a ton but I couldn't find anything wrong and he's happy. He was straight out giddy after running it coming...
