That’s what it looks like to me too. Someone was in this saw before me. I found all kinds of issues. The clutch side bearing is trashed so I was going to split the cases anyways. Could I possibly use a donor case half or should I stick to a whole new case?

I struggle with welding the thin stuff so it’s ugly but dang it sounds good.
