Thanks for the great tip Steve. I have to check around in local shops but I know they sell heat tape. I only had plans to build one but...

I put some aluminum tape on the area below the muffler to help deflect the heat away from the plastic case. :nusenuse:

My 346 play saw is built on a 340 chassis like that one. Even squeezed an HDA-198 under the hood. :)
