Torn apart a husky 353 today. The Maxima Super M seems to leave a very greasy feeling oil film in the saw like the caster oil. Super M is new to me oil, I run Dom for a while. The Dominator is not that greasy.

JJ is right. I've use silicon with good result. Another lead is the oil input hole from the oil pump to the case. Its a little rubber O ring that still in you pic, just right up from the intake hose. That one will age and leak too.

Work harder would help.. Just joking... I use 32:1 Dom and all my saw tune 500 rpm lower than factory recommended.No wet muffler. But smaller saw tends to wet the muffler I think they make less heat to burn it.

Funny thing is some 272K use dual ring piston.

272K share cylinders with 272 chainsaw and I have a 268 that wears 272K cylinder.

You use 395 wrist pin and it’s bearing in the 660. I’ve use the 288 wrist pin and it’s bearing in the 660. 288 and 395 use the same wrist pin bearing.

What’s the disadvantages of an unsquare squish ban??? I assume the piston won’t touch it cuz it’s rounded edge.

In this pic it's missing the 3 screw borsch coil with trigger box. Mine has that, but I don't know the part number cuz its not showing in the IPL. But seen a few times on ebay guys selling 064 parts.

Yes. My West Germany 064 with 116 serial number has a tube muffler outlet.

Nice early 064. Does the coil has a trigger box with it?
