Alot of those thick oils without a diluent will either not mix or seperate. All castor oils seperate in cold temps as well.

I think that the issue is with the check valve material inside of the nozzle. It must seal tightly at idle, and allow fuel to flow...

I have an update on all of this. I ordered two new nozzle/check valve assemblies for my saws and installed them on my HD-14 and HD-16...

Same AM 372 muff...just drilled out the tiny pipe, made the hole bigger, welded on a deflector. Port-matched the inlet to the widened...
