New welder is amazing. Easily strikes an arc at my cheat sheets lowest setting. Got to spend some good welding time cutting and welding a new grate to allow air to more easily flow from beneath the wood in my smoker.

It does have a lot of advantages. Light weight, easy start arc, love the carry handle (wraps up all the cables), 120V.

I have the same welder. Had it for a couple of years and still can't get welds that I feel proud of. Unlike my stick welders which yield (IMO) almost factory quality welds. Now that you have been at it for a year and a half how's the Forney welds looking?

I used the air hammer for the first time today. Used it to help break down some pallet crates for kindling. Perhaps not the best application, and it did help some, but not as much as I had hoped. Did a nice job in separating the planks and cut thru some of the nails and staples well enough...

Yup, cleaning the gun is a chore. I remember my first use of this gun and getting it all jammed up. Since then, only paint that can be cleaned with water, and spay a lot of water thru the gun til it is absolutely clear. Like you say, one of the best reasons for a rattle can -- Shake and go...
