    Stihl workshop manuals

Hi Ray, The manual I have is "Stihl series 4180 powerhead,Service Manual 2016-11. Is this correct for the FS-111?For some reason,I thought this was for the FS-110.Or is it applicable to both models? I want to try adjusting the carb on this FS-111.But strangely, the manual only...

    Stihl Fs111

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone had service information,IPL,etc. for a Stihl FS111 brush cutter? A gent picked one of these up for me to do some brush cutting and it doesn't seem to be running very well.Local dealership has a loooong wait time for service and I'm running out...

    Briggs carb fuel leak

Is this the part you're asking about? If so,grab the square part close to where it meets the carb body with a pair of pliers and pull.Maybe use a little twisting action,as well. I usually put them back in by putting the carb body between the jaws of a vice with the new fitting started into the...

    Toro super recycler busted gear

I'll take a guess. Judging by how much crud there is around the small drive gear,I'd be willing to bet some dirt/grass mixture was built up on the teeth. When the pressure exerted from lack of clearance became great enough, the force created shattered the wheel gear, the more fragile of the two...

    Echo PB-2620

I can just barely see in the bottom of the hole.I don't know what to say, mine doesn't look like brass.I can tell you it's a SOB to tell when the tool is actually engaged with that screw correctly-it's all by feel. You turn the tool ever so slowly and gently and wait for it drop-very tight fit.

    Echo PB-2620

I looked at the parts breakdown for your blower, the WYG-14 carb looks to be identical to the WYG-9 on my trimmer.I see no brass plug or anything that looks like a roll pin in the breakdown of the carb. Are you talking about the low-speed mixture screw or the high? Can you post a photo? ADDED:I...

    Echo SRM-2620T-mixture needle plug

As I posted in another thread the other day,I decided to go ahead and make a tool to pull out the plug. But I quickly discovered that there was no plug. The salesman handed my trimmer over to the mechanic who played with it for a few minutes before I left.Either he removed the plugs and never put...

    Echo PB-2620

Last I knew,I could be wrong, but the Zama carbs are the ones with the brass plug. The Walbro units have a plastic plug that you remove with the threaded tool or the hot screwdriver.I have the 91159L adjustment tool,I didn't buy the cap removal tool because it is essentially a 2.5mm,fine thread...

    Echo PB-2620

I have an Echo SRM-2620T trimmer with the Walbro WYG-9 carb.To adjust it,you need the number 91159L micro "D" tool. You also need the 2.5mm threaded tool to remove the anti-tamper plug-or do the hot screwdriver trick

Kohler CV 15 No Start issues.

Did you try a new spark plug? Many people check for spark by pulling it out of the head and grounding it.If it sparks, they're satisfied. But that doesn't tell you what's going on when the plug is trying to fire under compression.Sometimes they won't. Also,a failing coil can do the same thing.

Best way to remove rust from fuel tank

You won't get it to bare metal again,in my opinion/experience.I usually start with a handful of 3/8 nuts and shake the hell out of it or strap it to something that rotates. In other words, get as much of the loose crap off as possible,rinse-repeat if necessary. Then use Evaporust and let it soak...
