Iowa was good for Morel hunting. Never found any down here. All the rest seem to grow just fine but no Morels in 18 years.

I smoked a couple racks of ribs & some experimental sausage yesterday. Working under the lean to on the shop keeps me dry but if the wind is the wrong way it smokes up the whole shop. Glad everybody survived the rains/floods. Think we were about 5.5" on the week. Few roads closed Fri-Sat but...

No harm, no foul. I almost took s saw to the face picking up wood behind a cutter who didn't know I was there. We live & we learn.

That sort of thing goes on more places than you would think. Too much time indoors I believe.

Just straight lard seasons well also. A bit of salt with your water cleanup adds an abrasive effect if it’s messier.

Cackle Hatchery is kind of a big deal in the bird business. Ship stuff all over the country. I only know about em because they're local and we print for them.
