Did you pickup any rpm or time in the cut?

I’d probably only trust them tack welded in. I’ve seen too many unmodified throttle shafts snap and then eat screws that were epoxied in (on cars). IMO it’s not worth doing on a carb that’s already on the bigger end for the saws power level.

Are those lengths tuned for any particular rpm? You should get some pretty aggressive resonance pulses from that setup with how abrupt it is. From the endcap of the first pipe, the length of the second pipe and also just from the opening to the second pipe. That last one should be a softer pulse...

I want to say there is a stihlcylindrr of about the same bore at least that has the mounting holes only a couple mm off that could be made to fit.

You were just showing it off like it was something. Does yours have dual or quad transfers? The quads are substantially better, like better out of the box than a ported dual transfer.

The triple port muffler actually flows worse than the 2 port. The single port is then one to start with for modding though since it’s the easiest to add a second port of the same size and have the most flow.

Well it didn’t show up until I was done with my leaves, so I only screwed around in the woods. Seems fine. When I have to blow again in the spring we’ll see how it survived yr winter storage.

I could never get the dual port jugs to perform as well as the quad port one do stock. It’s pretty crazy how what stone pellet think would be too big of a carb for this saw makes a way bigger difference than anything else.

Yeah k095 rings a bell. And the 20” bar isn’t 20”s worth of chain more like 19 and change. So you should buy a new bar or else if you want name brand chains you need to find the one guy on eBay making them to the right link count off of a spool.

For how light they are, if you get the quad transfer jug and a 372 carb they’re pretty fast. 5200 Hotsaw, now with 3/8 full chisel
