Yes you never know what you'll find in these lots, so far the x21 is the gem in this load. There's a couple of stihls hidden in another part i havnt seen yet, hopefully they are worth the wait.

A few complete saws and lots of parts. Next loads are boxes of cylinders, flywheels a few complete stihls and more part saws.

Picked up this X21 today, very hard saw to find. Hope to find its missing muffler and gear cover when I go back for another load of saws.

I just sold my dremal about a month ago because I never used it, It would have been prefect on this job.

Finally got the remains of the clutch off, used a die grinder with a carbide burr to remove one side.

Low hour ms460, picked it up cheap due to the damage around the clutch. The remnants of the clutch spider is stuck, Ive had a socket with a breaker bar and then a 1/2 drive rattle gun, still won't undo (yes im going the right way). Will try heat next with the rattle and if that doesn't work ill...

I think so, will get a better idea once I remove whats left of the clutch, washer and oil pump. Also not sure if a brake band will hold in place ?

Picked up this MS460 yesterday, previous owner said the clutch flew apart when he started and revved it, im guessing drum wasn't on and clutch was already broke or missing a spring. Lots of metal shaving and only an inch of brake band left. Anyway I got it cheap and its low hour.

I see farmertec is selling parts branded farmerboss, is there a difference in quality over the farmertec branded parts?

Yes it is chinese made. I was sent 3 samples from Peak, 3/8 semi chisel, 3/8 full chisel and 404 semi chisel. It all performed very well, very little stretch and held its edge well.

Scored this 066 redlight a few days ago. Starts, runs great and piston and cylinder are mint.

It is a very good saw and starts easy, will swap the clutch and muffler cover for cleaner examples.

New saw for my collection, a 066 redlight, I have wanted one for some time.

This saw obviously hasn't been used in decades, the fuel i dumped out was a reddish choc colour with no smell.
