Yeah the big stuff is intimidating, lots can go wrong.
Plan is to trim the remaining branches off and then saw the main trunk in half with my 3120, it only has a 42" so will have to cut from both sides.

All that is left now is the larger trunk section, in a few days my friend will help with his loader and truck and we can break it up and take it to the mill and woodyard.
I looked at this very large Redgum last week, tree loppers have now felled it into lengths now and it is awaiting me to cut it for firewood.
I estimate it to be about 6ft at the base.

Also looking over a friend's big Solo 603 and fix a few small issues.
Visited a retired softwood logger today.
Came home with a 044 and 076, heaps of bar sprockets, clutch drums for 084 and 064 and 044 parts.
Also lots of rubber av mounts for 084.
