Thought about milling it but have to much clean up too do. I have a real nice one still standing that I am going to cut down this year so that one we will mill I think.
Ok folks, I have a chain that is almost at its end. Filed back to the witness marks and rakers taken down (without a gauge). I was getting pretty small chips but it was cutting good. Do chips get smaller as the teeth get smaller or is my sharpening/ raker filing crap?
I have not in the past but my neighbor said it’s good for kindling so I am going to try this year for starting the fire. It was one that was down for a couple years but the wood is in good shape.
Well, a few more trees that fell and some I cut down. All oaks and one redwood. It never ends, now I’m stacking rounds on pallets in my wood yard. I will spilt em one day. Used my sausage stuffed 572xp for these ones.
I have a couple scored 562’s that I was thinking of parting out or selling as a parts saw. I was planning to rebuild them but I have plenty of projects these days to keep me busy.
