Send one to one of the pros on here and see how you like it. The 572xp will need a machine work to delete the gasket the right way plus you will get a fully ported saw vs you just grinding away at bits. Just my 2 cents.

I picked up one that @huskihl tinkered with and it rips, it came from a logger that has used it for years since it was brand new and ported. I think all models have their lemons just like cars and trucks so we are all going to have our own experiences with these saws. Just keep buying saws you...

How many cords do y’all have stacked and drying? I have about 20 now and still have dead standing trees to take down, we are burning about 3-4 cords in the winter.

Well finally finished up the last of my VP oil and just mixed my first 5 gallons of dominator at 32:1 :cool:

Mine is not tinkered with but I have run maybe 8-10 tanks through it so far with no issues. I know @farminkarman has massaged them before with success.
