Tore it all the way down and cleaned everything up, going to reassemble it with a 353 cylinder and a dukes coated piston . It had the older 44mm open port cylinder on it that was scored.
Got a 440 mag on the bench and a husky 350 going back together. Guy said the 440 was hard to get started and the recoil was having issues. Finally told me he took parts from his 029 and swapped them into the 440 starter. It seems to hang up every couple pulls, I am assuming the starter pawls are...

That’s a good idea, I have about 20 cords split and stacked now. We will go thought 4 cords or so so my plan is to split and stack whatever we go through each year to stay years ahead. I think splitting in the winter could be ok as well as long as its not raining.
