JWater isnt abrasive to rocks. The rocks being forced into contact with each other by water are abrasive .

JYep. The 2 series Huski saws are super nice. There simple and well built like the old ones, but have the performance of a new saw.

JI hear that, though my 272 will be one of the last saws I get rid of, it was my first full build and I am kind of partial to it!

JI have a unmodified 272 that I rebuilt from the bearings up, looks about the same as your saw and it is a great runner, I can imagine...
