Yes, on the outside of the seal. It's the inner part of the seal (between crank and seal) that's leaking and I can absolutely not figure it out. Thanks for your help, I'll probably come back here after I run it and say how it runs.

I'm about done with my Husqvarna 141 build. I bought as a parts saw, cleaned it all up, and replaced many parts. I go to run it for the first time and doesn't want to start, idle screw does nothing, runs like crap, and doesn't want to restart. I suspect it has an air leak, so I tear it all down...

Yeah. I'd like to run LRB but the experiences I'm hearing are making me think otherwise. I'd love to get new oem piston, rings, wrist pin and clips, and bearing. I'll keep looking around, maybe a good used piston with new rings?

Anyone know anything about LRB pistons for these pioneer saws? I heard fine things about them but specifically the P40, P41, etc has an issue with the wrist pin or something not lining up making it usable? Theres no other piston for these things and I need one. Watching tinman not use the LRB...
