That was where I had to actually buy some tubing. I moved the plastic bracket/mount up the tube as far as I could then cut down the rest...

That looks like something slid onto the crankshaft, not like part of the clutch.

Got ugly for a thread on OPE, sounds more like AS... I too use Red Kote and my last can did at least 10 fuel tanks (mostly 10 Series)...

The mostly complete saw has compression, but feels like some grit got into the cylinder. All parts for $100 plus shipping. Interesting...
