    371 sealing question

Checked and isn't. It's not leaking around the rubber seal its self. Just the inside.

Did that already. It did nothing. Even tried 3 Bond 1184. Same thing. Soooo....Permatex Untra Black 82180 next. We'll see how that goes. So far. Nothing stop the bypass.

    371 sealing question

I'm trying to pressure test a 371. The pro side seal needed to go. But its as also leaking from the barrel things internal gap. So I popped it out. Replaced the seal and that version with one off my 372 with the tiny o-ring. Still getting it to bubble. So I put the clutch on. Spun it down. And...

    Skip chain

We don't have anybody around here that stocks it. It's a little uncommon. So I figured I'd ask here. Ya know, throw a few bucks at one of my forum guys before I gave it to someone else.

    Skip chain

I'm not really sure if this is the right spot. I got one of my guy looking for 2 3/8th 50ga. full skip chain for his 36" bar on his 660. He finds some stuff now and then that the full comp is just a bit to many teeth. Even some of the Farmertec stuff is acceptable for a trial run. Thanks.

    Ms 200t torque specs

Am I reading the manual correctly? The torque spec for the 200t crank case is 3.5nm? I can't believe that to be correct. 10nm for the cylinder? Thanks

    880 oiler issues

Yes. Everything moves very freely. I was wondering 2 things. If the seal was touch to high(fixed that already) and if maybe the OEM clutch drum didn't have a deep enough of a grove? Perhaps spinning at a slight angle is making her unhappy? I'll take care of that tonight after I test one of the...

    880 oiler issues

So my way of thinking in life is to find out what I did wrong before I go off on other people. So, I'm asking what I did wrong. What going on is I've now basically melted 2 of these gears in a row.I'm not sure what's going on. The oil pump moves freely. I'm assuming I'm assembling this...

So what did you do today?

Yes. Passed pressure vac test. My procedure is to assemble. Test. Half tank to tank at ide only. Test. Get 2 tanks in wood. Test. 2 in a row failed test 3. An 880 developed a air leak in the carb boot at the cylinder. The second was a 460. Piston warped. Taking it out of center and ate its...

    Ms880 kaboom

So I built one for a client. Did my normal testing ritual. P&V test. 1 tank gas. P&V test again. Now, get it hot and check again. Been doing this for years. Finally had a failure at the "get it hot" stage. So long story short. Anybody have a 880 p&c? The Farmertec one was great till the boot...

So what did you buy today

Carb kits for starters for both of these gals. Ones been used barely and been sitting in a barn forever. Ones been used by a tree guy. Both bought same day by same guy. Got 2 different paths in life.
