Can you change a 10mm to a 12mm without changing the crankshaft? I am assuming no. But I also don't know.

I took the cylinder off. It "looks" like the bottom ring broke. It's in 3 pieces. A small part seems to have broken and was rubbing everything wrong. At least that's the running theory atm. Either that. Or the oil pump gave out. Got things to hot and there she went.

Just rebuilt 2 10mm 044's earlier this year. Everything was fine till yesterday. The owner calls me up and says one won't start. Take it home. Exhaust side of piston is melted. The only thing I can find is the PTO seal with the bushing when NOT at top or bottom dead center is now leaking...

It's mainly used for just working on saws. Mostly just blowing stuff out and a air impact from time to time. Atm cfm ain't really an issue. I'm just looking for one with oil this time and replaceable parts. I have a 5 and now a 2 gal tanks.

Anybody got a IPL for a 044 10mm? I need the wires for the shut off switch. My customers is literally having the insulation fall off the wires and now I can't get it to start anymore. lol. And for some reason, my Google Machine can't find one.

Checked and isn't. It's not leaking around the rubber seal its self. Just the inside.

Did that already. It did nothing. Even tried 3 Bond 1184. Same thing. Soooo....Permatex Untra Black 82180 next. We'll see how that goes. So far. Nothing stop the bypass.

I'm trying to pressure test a 371. The pro side seal needed to go. But its as also leaking from the barrel things internal gap. So I popped it out. Replaced the seal and that version with one off my 372 with the tiny o-ring. Still getting it to bubble. So I put the clutch on. Spun it down. And...

Yes. Everything moves very freely. I was wondering 2 things. If the seal was touch to high(fixed that already) and if maybe the OEM clutch drum didn't have a deep enough of a grove? Perhaps spinning at a slight angle is making her unhappy? I'll take care of that tonight after I test one of the...
