tay. mine has 7r A so that is the year as mine has 1997 above the serial # but its not patinas at all so is it rebuilt w/ factory parts? the piston is bright shinny w/ lines going horizontally and no scuffing... wish i had your guyz experience
just adopted a 246 and the # is 7170409 , looks to have new cyl and piston runs super nice cant believe is was a rescue , totally baffling is oregon 21 avail? its what was original chain i think thanx
realize the 572xp is way expensive to trade outright for a 16" saw, i bought it to remove large trees but talked myself out of it due to house and pwr lines... kinna stuck with it unless you have a good suggestion , please , and thanks for your input
looking at the spec sheet, sez what the points gap is and i never went that far on it to check em so all considered i bet its passed gas for very few tanks of 20:1
this is a rear handle real sorry about that its a give away just thought it would go to a proper home instead of a dust collector here serial # 1011008 12" bar
top handle and prolly a '72 as the serial is low it took alota tlc to be a runner but it was a nuisance thrift store give away so i tlc'd it for limb werk but its a thumb oiler so its a collector piece imo . not for me.
o tay !! was given to me nonrunner and i cured it but prolly needs carb as it runs outta tune on a new note, does anyone here want a cs301 [echo] ? i have this and it runs but its not a saw i would use all day... thanx
what the scoop on breakin in a new saw ? manual sez take it easy the first ten hours i dont know as i can do that , no i can i guess but its gonna be tempting to hog it some as its a 572xp
