It did not. That being said I ran it today and it behaved perfectly
I’m wondering if it just needed to be broken in a bit. I’ve never owned a new saw before so is that within the realm of possibilities?
I adjusted the low speed jets a bit to try and fix it. That being said I haven’t fully adjusted it. I’m a bit wary of it due to the limited coil but I guess there is no better time than the present to learn it.
Any suggestions on videos or references for adjusting it?
It had not been fueled prior to last week when I fueled it and started it to make sure it ran.
It has the HD filter with the foam cover on it. I’ll try it without
Hopefully you guys can help me out a bit.
My NOS EA7900 got a workout today (or gave me a workout….)
I took it out for a wildland class and it would die when idled.
Not consistently but when I was lining up my backcut every couple of times it would idle down and die. It died a couple of times...
I wanted to post my new Dolkita. It’s a NOS EA7900P. It joins my used DCS6421 that now will get ported and possibly a new bar with .404 chain if I can find one.
Currently it’s wearing a 24” Tsumura bar with Archer 3/8 full chisel. Hopefully I can get it into some wood next week.
I know...
