Some of the Homelites have that crankshaft step near the case make it a pain to get the seal over the step.
I wrap the shaft above the step with electrical tape even with the step diameter to make it much easier to get the seal on.

The model is "Farmsaw" and its displacement is 66cc. Decent saw with prestolite coil issues and a fragile starter. Make sure the auto decomp under the starter is working.
