So ladies here are to vids from the saw. First stock with cold start. Second with muff mod, carb shafts thinned and oiled foam filter. But I didn’t gain any cut time. May be the log is to small. After the mods I ran the saw for 10 min in different size of wood. 20“ 404 rs 8 pin I use this setup...

Yes more oil would be cool. But I cut with a 28” bar and doesn’t see any signs that I need more oil. Would u run more then a 28”?

@jmester I found ur picture strange, because number 30 (1122 664 0506) is in outer dog in ur picture. In the old ipl these number is for an inner dog. Can u follow me and is this correct?

28“ wasn’t a problem in fresh softwood

No I don’t know that. I try to get a ipl for the new one. Saw feels really light with a 16 tsumura :) And the saw has a strange sound, I will try to get that on video the next days.

Dyno Joe did a dyno run on the old 400, and it gained 2.5% with the RedBear/WCS foam filter. The videos from RedBull661 also clearly showed that the max flow filters are better. The only annoying thing is the oiling and washing.

I just enjoy sawing, and it bothers me when they just sit around. So I've reduced the number of saws I have. I'll cut with the saw again this weekend. After that, I'll secure a log to make comparison videos. Planned mods: muffler mod, carb mod and oil foam filter. Not sure about time advance.
