This is the 400c muffler I recently did. Simple enough and sounds like a dragster.

More like, can be loud, if the hole is past the deflectors edge. If kept well within they are quite manageable.

A nice opening or two in the side of the muffler is so much better. I’m not sure that Bark Boxes benefit the scavenging either.

Most of my saws have muffler mods. I always double up, foam plugs and muffs. Some foam plugs are damn near worthless.

Doesn't have to be so. Deflectors with the exit holes fully covered and pipes added that stick well inside the muffler housing pointing...

I just use dawn dish soap on my maxflo. Cheaper than using gas.

Love my tm 462, will be watching how the mf performs when they've been out a while.
