    Bigger setup for CS milling

No issues oiling the 48, but I’m planing to get a 72” soon. I’ve seen that oiler from australia, $200 no thanks 🤣, you need a dripper anyway for really big bars milling. The stock one can be modified if you really need more output, pretty easy to do, there’s videos on youtube. Also, using that...

    Bigger setup for CS milling

Keep the .404 with these large bars and saws, it handles the load substantially better than 3/8, less stretching, less sharpening, for just a bit more kerf width. I have an 881 since 2021, hasnt missed a beat during all this time, 99% milling with a 48” setup, running 25:1 mix. Very happy with...

    592xp coil replacement

Only husky autotune coil I replaced was an 2018 made 572xp which ran after that. I have no idea if their latest autotune iteration is anti-repair or not. I sure hope its just swap and go.

    592xp coil replacement

There’s no way this is real, it would be a massive minus for Husqvarna… For Stihl mtronic or fuel injection any part can be changed without doing anything else.

    Husqvarna 564xp (g) fuel inject

Found it for the (G) model too, less watermarking https://www.xn--motorsgsbutiken-mlb.se/dokument/bibliotek/Image/Motorsag/564XPG-Fuel-Inject/IPL-Husqvarna-564XPG-Fuel-Inject-970711601-2025_wm.pdf

    881 vs 661

You’re not gonna mill for long with a ported 661 before it blows and it costs the same as a stock 881 after you pay for a good porting job. If you want to mill the stock 881 will always cut faster in wood in the 36”- 84” bar range, and do it reliably as it can handle the heat soak and load...

    Milling with remote throttle

I just use a velcro cable tie. Works great, easy to pull back/off the throttle if needed, zero issues so far. Simple is always best imo.

    Husqvarna 564xp (g) fuel inject

    Yep I agree 100%!

    Husqvarna 564xp (g) fuel inject

You can't expect these saw companies to do the heavy lifting in term of R&D for battery development, they just use the current tech that the EV manufacturing uses. There's a wall that was hit for a few years now in terms of energy storage, so its impossible to recreate a 50cc or higher in terms...

    Husqvarna 564xp (g) fuel inject

Sadly that will probably mean its gonna be sloppy as all hell with anything in the 25-28" range bar, and it will need aftermarket help like the 500i needs with anything over 28. I'd just rather wear gloves and have a stiffer saw tbh.

    Husqvarna 564xp (g) fuel inject

Yea its probably the lighter crank and shorter stroke that they mentioned in the specs they listed. In the usage video it looks like the saw likes to scream and makes good hp with its RPMs, but is the lack of torque noticeable or the injection helps negate that? I can't wait to see a comparison...

    Husqvarna 564xp (g) fuel inject

You don't really need an MDG1 because 6 years later and tens of thousands of saws sold we know the computer and injection system is the most robust part of that saw and something that just doesn't fail (besides some weird issues with some of the initial production run of 500i's, which was fixed...

Stihl NGK spark plugs vs. any ol NGK spark plug?

Its the same number because the numbering has a very specific meaning in regards to sizing of the sparkplug, heat characteristic and its electrical properties. The changes done for Stihl are minimal and unrelated to their standard. I always used regular NKG plugs. My 881 came with a regular...

    Anyone compare a CS1201 vs MS881?

I agree with you about the oiler, but Stihl offers a high output 1.6mm stroke oiler for it #1124 640 3206 (I have no idea why it doesn't come with it from the factory). As for the no low end torque, it feels to me the same as the 3120/088/084, so I don't know how you can say that. I'd even say...

FOUND IT 500i case half. clutch side

The TS 500i? No, completely different machine. Even the injector design and location is different, together with everything else. Its not like the Husky 3120k and the 3120 chainsaw sadly.
