Yeah, they give two extra batteries with it. If the first goes bad fast, I'll remove the battery between uses. Thanks for the Info!

Completely disassembled the motor, measured the run out of the shaft between centers on the lathe and used a press to straighten it.

Which is why mine is mounted on the wall.

It can probably be straightened by any reputable electric motor shop. I've straightened shafts on many silvey motors.

Duane(Pa) replied to the thread simington grinder.Bummer. You will be frustrated until you get the runout sorted. Fairly common for them to tip over, then repairs can get pretty weird.
