Absolutely right with using 50:1. Modern oil of today is much better as it was in the past. These machines are built for 50:1 and run a very long time with it, if taken a little care. If you don`t have a tachometer and don`t know the proper settings go to your dealer and let the dealer check it...

Sounds like your tank vent is faulty. That tank vent should not hold vacuum, but it shoud hold 0,5 bar pressure for at least 20 sec. If it drops faster the leak has to be found.

If one batch of carbs is used up on the production it is replaced by a other one with the same specifications that works too. That`s not a problem. Screws are not different.

They aren`t set up to lean. If this would be the case they would blow up en masse. Without proper testing equipment you can`t know if it is lean or not. (exhaust gas probe, for lambda testing). Yes these engines can run lean due to air leaks, clogged filters or misadjusted inlet control levers...

Attention. You must not mix up the part no. (order number) and the 4 digit no. on the module. They are often different. They have nothing in common. Only the ipl part no is importand and valid. So always talk to your dealer to get the right part.
