    All Things 288XP

I put a 288 carb on 181 and IIRC I had to swap the throttle shaft because the crank cases are slightly different and the arm didn't fully engage. I put the 181 arm on a 288 tank.

    All Things 288XP

There were a couple of revisions of the cover from Husqvarna, the FT looks like the later model. Hang on to the little bits from the older one. They are hard to track down.

    poison ivy wash

We have Ivey X pre-contact lotion at work. If I'm working in right-of-way, or even road side its every where around here. Still need to wash after contact, I use 99% alcohol. We use it for cleaning fiber optic cable.

Of the thread repair inserts for the coarse thread Husqvarna screws, like in handle bars and antivibes in the tanks. These are for plastic and magnesium. range in price $5-11 a piece plus shipping. I would like to have about 50 to keep on hand. Husqvarna parts says NLA. I'm down to my last one...

    What's on your bench?

Clutch covers are still available for 362's, I just got one a few months ago 503769201. I also have one that had a damaged case and transferred all guts over to an aftermarket large mount case. All the OEM transferred except for the oil pump output line.
