Of the thread repair inserts for the coarse thread Husqvarna screws, like in handle bars and antivibes in the tanks. These are for plastic and magnesium. range in price $5-11 a piece plus shipping. I would like to have about 50 to keep on hand. Husqvarna parts says NLA. I'm down to my last one.

I think McMaster might have those.

Are you able to confirm the internal thread (M6?) and external diameter (10mm).

I found this supplier in the UK at not a bad price, if the dimensions are right. You will be able to find them in the US too. Probably also in brass rather than steel.

It is a 6mm however it's a coarse tread inside to retain the use of the OEM screws the threads are similar to wood screws.

On plastic self tapping screws, I’ve been successful in just going to standard machine screw threaded Helicoil inserts and using normal 5mm torx or socket head screws.

Work fine in the buffer mounts on Stihl rear handle/fuel tanks. 6mm should be no different for wrap handles.
