Check the drive sprocket. The 5800 might have an 8 tooth and yours has a stock 7 that will make quite a difference in the cut with both saws having sharp chains with relatively comparable saws power.
Ah didn’t see ur over in the Mediterranean…..
The description of an were you are with approximately 11 leaflets and smooth bark most closely matches the invasive
tree of heaven(Ailanthus altissima) or the native European ash(Fraxinus excelsior), particularly when young.
The 11 leaf says White Ash to me. It could be a hybrid of some Ash, as the bark is still strangely smooth for its size and age. Does it get single blade spinners for seed? If it is an Ash and it’s about 10” in diameter it’s to the point where it’s going to really start to grow fast ^3ft or...
Negative on that Ghost Rider........ That stuff is like $5-10 a block  ..........cheese :cunaooooo:
:squezer:I do luv me some high end grilled cheese & charcuterie :cheeseburger:
Try merino wool socks ….cool n breathable in summer warm n dry in winter. Or at least merino wool thin liners with ur regular socks, they don’t stink terrible compared to synthetic fiber socks either.
I got a pair of the Georgia 8" Loggers. I couldn't pass up the price $55.75 eBay shipped :risas3: on an 11ee that was used, more like walked around in the store from what I can tell. They are def not the ones you received that delaminated. Mine are full stitch all around, all through the...

The 550xp is an excellent saw as well. I have a 572 565 550, the 550 after a muffler gutting, gasket delete and hand porting it has IMO the best power to weight ratio saw of the bunch. If your looking for a dedicated saw to be strapped to the tractor of in the back of the work...
From what you have said you basically know what the difference is between the saws. Its mostly auto-tune or not. HP and Weight are the differences in factory numbers, but its in how the saw runs if your an experienced saw user. witch is sounds like you are
I have both manual and "compy-tune"...
Air Temp and Altitude/Ambient air pressure and how smooth its running ( a knock sensor type detection ) is about all the new compy-controlled saws read. They control RPM with basically only those 3 things. That's why the don't run great at partial throttle.
From what I can tell the saws dont...
As have I, 32-ish on break in saws and 40-1 on most everything else unless it seems to be a extra hot running saw or its mid summer and like 100 degrees out. :flaming: I hate cutting in those conditions
-Hondabond on case halves
-High Temp Permatex ( orange ) on a base gasket delete. Orange is the only one I have found to imply its brake clean resistant.
OE base gaskets get a skin and dry on one side and wet install on the other side. Wet on both side can lead to the gasket pushing in/out...
