To be expected, good penetration on a thick metal weld is always super hard. . .

    Cheap Carbs for Weed Whacker

Im in he same boat with the experience. Hit or miss but mostly they are good unless its assembled wrong or dirty. Dont trust the yellow fuel lines they all come with, that stuff is junk. as Shane¹ said Amazon for the win on unquestioned returns

    Can I plug a pioneer decomp? Building a p26

I do not believe there is a “linkage” at least a physical/mechanical one. Have you taken the saw apart enough to find a linkage. If so post a pic of it. If your reading “ linkage” in a description it maybe referring to a “ this” is related to “that” type linkage …AKA a decomp valve helps ease...

Dreaded cordless saws in a wild land conservation setting

As of now: -Super sharp new clean chains -Fresh topped off the charger batteries With my experience "souping" up ebikes the only way to increase speed/torque in a battery powered saw is to increase voltage for speed or get a higher output digital motor controller for off the line TQ. Electric...

    Computer controlled saw carbs.

Only issue ive experienced so far with any of my Husky-Autos after a major port and other mods is if they sit long ( weeks-months and the weather/temp are seriously different ) they take alot of pulls and throttle messaging to keep running. Once they have sorted themselves out though, they are...

550 XP Mark II or MS 261

There’s only one place within 40-50 mile of me, so its easier n cheaper ( E-free is like $1 more a gal. ) to just take the ethanol out with water. With Amsoil Saber mix and a small dose of boostane per gallon I've never had any issues.

550 XP Mark II or MS 261

Both saws are ideal for a wood burning home owner who likes to cut. The 550 responds exceptionally well to a muff-mod, gasket delete and porting out the casting angles in the lower bit of the cylinder along with opening up the beginnings of the stratos. I have 2 and one has a pop-up piston...

So what did you buy today

Yes the PA Turnpike is ridiculous. I got an EZ-pass like 5 years ago for work emergency's and luckily have never used it. I wouldn't be surprised if my work pays out over $50,000 a year in tolls with amount of trucks we run.

    Show off your muffler mods

Bold move giving one of those lil bastards the big chop in 1/2 to get to the baffles. I always go in with a 6" burr and zip them out, either way its a PITA! well done Sir  . .

    HELP! I'm stumped...

That image is a bit hard to read but I must agree^ the first 10degrees from TDC look like there's a lip-cut-line thing goin on, or the nickel plating is missing up top....? ( not that I can believe you wouldn't see a defect like that ) Random question: Is the pin in the piston for the ring...
