any leather working guys on here? I need a custom holster made

SOB: small of back. Only way I could carry a full sized before I got a compact. The guy does good work, cost is up there but he will do anything you ask for and usually have it to you in a week.

any leather working guys on here? I need a custom holster made

I use to carry a 26, switched to the 36 (slimline in 45) at christmas. The slimline is worth every penny. I got a SOB holster from http://www.kramerleather.com for my 17 RTF2 for the reason you're having. But on all my other glocks I use a "clipdraw" (found on Amazon) and love it where it...

    Post up Garage/barn finds

Dug these out of my papaws garage today. The Remington has a good story behind it. It was one stolen and then found under a bridge back in the late 80s. Unquie tip on the little bandit saw. Anybody know anything about this Remington? Worth fixin it up and playing with it for kicks?

    16" Husqvarna chain at Lowes

I couldn't count how many of those chains I've bought for 18$. My little 141 uses em and for cutting rose bushes on the farm they are great. I use them up fast for some reason. Going to check my lowes;) they vibrate like hell in hard wood though Edit:20$ at my lowes

I Sold My First Saw..... It Hurt

    Machining for port work

I once read a book about machining a few years back, it was printed in 1990, I'll try to find it. It touched on the factory in VA beach. Then, STIHL's tolerances were 1/100MM (0.0004") I'm sure they have only gotten tighter, however I don't see it as that important for a cylinder base. As...

High end oil debate belray h1r vs motul 800 2t

Ester is essentially an acid that's been modified to be non acdic that loves to cling to metal even with high heat. And burning it is a new technology and every new technology is amazing and the best UNTIL someone finds a con to it. He was a chemist in his younger days.

High end oil debate belray h1r vs motul 800 2t

Was it the H1R? It has ester in it, which id say is why. Kinda like when everyone though oil with MOLLY in it was a magic answer. If I ran the H1R in my RM250 it was a B**** to start because the idle jet was too lean with it. A very smart old man schooled me on Ester when I was complaining...

High end oil debate belray h1r vs motul 800 2t

I've never personally used either of these in a saw, but have a bit of use in the dirt bike application. I believe almost all Belray products are great, I've ran their red gear oil in every transmission I can and when I split my bike one, you couldn't tell the gears had ever been used. The H1R...

    ms 461 8-pin

I believe my transfers were right at 125, and as far as the intake, yes it lacks a lot to be desired but the saw if far from being done. I'm trying to find a pressure transducer with the resolution and sample rate to allow me to measure it with a tee from the line running back to the carb so I...

    My first time

The torx bolts that hold the case stuffer is only a clearance issue if you delete the base gasket. Yes I have the base gasket on the saw. The compression was after about 15 minutes of run time and cooling overnight. 30 clearance was what I chose because of where the transfers end up would end...
