ok thanks, over in the UK, i know its been done over here but just can't seem to figure it out!! stihl actually do a kit which includes the bar etc so know its possible. but that includes everything

hi i've ordered part number 0000 642 1240 to go on my 261 to convert it down to 3/8LP or picco whatever you want to call it, and i can't seem to find anywhere what bar and chain i'll need to buy for to fit it? am i correct in saying it'll be the same as the 250 range etc? thanks

hello, hope this is the right place but could someone please give me some guidance as to how far i can go on a muffler mod on the 880 as it mainly gets used for milling so need to make sure i don't overdo it! thank you

thanks alot for everyone's replies my thinking was that i only have a 25" for the 880 but got 3/8 bars from 16" all the way to 36" including ripping chains and just wanted to try and convert the 880 to save having to buy 404 bars etc i guess i'll just have to spend a load more money :applaudit:
