I'm looking to powder coat some dolmar cases. anyone got a RAL color code that gets me close to dolmar "red" ? I used an app that tries to color match from a photo. It looks decently close on my phone, but when I look up examples of RAL 2002 online it doesn't look quite right.

how big of a log do you expect to move with it? are you thinking a log arch with enough frame to support removable floor/sides ? or more of a trailer that you have a way to winch/grapple a log onto?

ouch, good luck. got to say that looks pretty bad. when I first split my cases I thought maybe I was dealing with a little surface junk... but after a quick blast in the cabinet it was clear the rot was much deeper. I'm sure people have fixed far worse, but not worth it for me.

on the bench... but for how long? I like a challenge! I'm going to clean out all the mag rot, tig up the craters, spend hours sanding it smooth as a baby's bottom, blueprint the cases, and should be good to go?! suppose I should powder coat it while I'm at it. probably strip the other case...
