Has aluminum transfer on the spark plug. Feel a bit of resistance pulling it over but little for normal compression. Has spark but would not hit on prime. I believe it was straight gassed and it would take a new topend and little else to revive it or make a good parts saw. Pretty good plastics...

I did pretty much the same on an Stihl 026 only used, high heat silicone and it worked. Used the saw years and sold it. I did loosen the case screws prior to cleaning and then tightened them back after some drying time.
