My newish lightly used 550xpg mk2 has a broken hood latch . Cheaply made as they look i expect ķbetter keep extra on hand. Dealer isn't close by. So are the cheap ones on ebay any good or how much should I expect to pay at the dealership.

I don't like the switch location on my 550 xp cause cutting stumps low puts it near the ground. All else it performs and handles comfortably with 20 inch bar and chain. Would hate to be without the heat this year. Saves a lot of pain, from hands thawing after getting very cold.. Mild winters...

They are comfortable saws to work with. Used the 032 s and a lot and an 031 or 2 in the 80s and 90s. I liked an 20 inch bar for all round use. Plenty of parts other then oem ignition and air filters and box covers i don't think are plentiful, I have most else.

Slowly went from 11 to 8, then in about 2 to 3 weeks gained 3 back.

It's difficult for me to focus on most the labeling. Very interested in 3/8 picco bars that fit small Stihl 017 to ms250. 050 gauge possibly an . 043 also. Also 3/8 - .050 picco bars and sprockets for ECHO CS400. Sprockets for several Stihl models.
