Thank you, knowing that it doesn't lock helps! Sounds like I just need to add/remove shims until the gap is right. I was over complicating it. I don't expect it to be a real safety mechanism, I'm just having fun getting the saw back into shape.

Does anyone know how the washers are supposed to work in a Jonsereds 70e brake assembly? Is there a certain alignment of the washers that matters or certain # of washers? I've got one that I can either put together with the brake engaged or not engaged (but not functional). I'm struggling with...

Can anyone help me out on the cylinder kit part # for an NE346XP? I have a 2152C that needs a new cylinder and am planning on upgrading. I tried looking it up myself and am not sure if it’s 544142907, 544142908 or something else completely different. Thanks!

I haven't tried this but I would be tempted to try to convert it to the MS660 style fuel hose. 1124 358 7700 and 1122 353 2600 then whatever length of quality fuel hose to the carb.

Thanks guys, I looked closer at the carb and see why there isn’t the normal ring I’m used to on older saws. It sealed up fine without dirko, I’m guessing someone mis-diagnosed the tore intake and tried the dirko.

That’s what I was expecting but I don’t see it in the parts diagram.

Is it normal to use a little Dirko to seal the carb to intake manifold on a 201t? I'm fixing one for a guy because it wouldn't idle, found a hole in the intake. When I tore it apart there was dirko between the carb/intake. I checked the parts diagram and don't see the normal rings like on older...

Thank you, I ended up using one off a Stihl. I think off an 036, it took care of my air leak at that seal so seems to work out fine.

Does anyone have a good source/solution for replacing the fuel hose on a Jonsereds 621? This is the one that’s larger on one end and smaller on the carb inlet end.

Does anyone know if the intake sleeve #503597501 can be substituted with a different #? I’ve got a 625 I’m working on with an air leak at the carb/boot and it’s missing the sleeve.
