This is your issue. For any vendor to honour their warranty, the dealer needs to provide sufficient documentation to satisfy them that the customer did not in fact cause the issue. That often includes further disassembly of the saw with photos taken at every stage. If the dealer won’t do that...

If it’s happening when you flip the saw on it’s side, time for a pressure/vac test. Could be a crank seal going.

I’ve had the latter several times. Saw will idle all day long, but pull the trigger and put it into a log and it dies almost immediately. Clean the screen and back to normal operation.

Check the stop switch and wires. Should be an open circuit between the 2 wires on the push on terminals and between one side and the chassis.

10 logs, 12” Ave diameter, 16’ long is about a cord. 2-3 16’ logs 24“ diameter would be a cord too. 1 36” diameter log, 16’ long 800-900 splits in a cord.

For the same money, buy a used electric hydraulic splitter. It’ll split more than that would, and safer too.
