Found the photos. 42 inch bar, 404x063 chain full comp, Woodland Pro Ripping Grind, 10 degrees, 10 degrees, 60 degrees. Woodland Pro sold by Baileys, made by Carlton.
Found this thread while searching for info on the 090 166cc saws.
Anyway was milling with my 090AV this week and thought a few photos would be interesting.
Yep, it is a handful even with the 36 inch bar pictured on the mill.
I have a photo milling with the 42 inch bar, will post it...
I know it is a 2 year old post but I just installed one in my 795L.
The Decomp valve was missing and replaced by a bolt screwed into the port. I could not start the saw in this configuration, too much for this 73 year old guy.

Thanks to a...

A pair of Geared Uglies:
Found the 895 on Arborist Forum, bought it from Sawman. Nice saw . Needs a paint job but the internals are in good shape.
Pulled the bar, dog, handlebar off today, gave it a wash with mineral spirits. Old handlebar had a nasty bend.
Found a NOS handlebar on...
The shop photo is Lincoln Welding in Port Angeles, the Possinger Boys. I have known Will and Brian since about 1977. They run a good shop and have an excellent crew. Back in my years as a Project Engineer in the Paper Mill here, I used them for welding and structural steel erecting jobs...
Super: Hydraulic: Nice! 177 drivers on the loop in the drip pan.
Brake cleaner and carb cleaner in the two spray cans.
I soak chains in gas first to get all the loose stuff off (good use for that stale two stroke mix)
Then spray with brake cleaner or carb cleaner and let soak...
