HELP! Husqvarna duckbill valve info needed

The larger mystery one may be the duckbill from the Husky 2100 manual oiler (501 56 65-01).

Advise appreciated - Husky 455 Rancher

Be careful with the compressed air. It can drive water into the crankcase so if you don't soon get it started, that water will rust the crank and bearings to the point they're worthless. Only takes a couple of weeks, ask me how I know. Being low hour, likely your tuneup kit and clutch bearing...

WANTED Husqvarna 357/359 Flywheel, Recoil, Carburetor

I don't believe that is true. They are very similar in shape but the pulleys (and flywheel pawls) are quite different.

HELP! Husky 262 air jet grommet

Yes, used on all 254, 257, 261, and 262's having the Air Injection feature (early 254's may not have). Sorry, I don't currently have one.

    FOUND IT Tillotson 296a

I'm not familiar with that particular carb but can't you just remove the Welch plug and clean the passage?

    Help Deciding on a 346xp

Porting costs money and I can build a stock saw for likely less than $50 given the parts I have available. If the saw throws a ring or clip, my ported cylinder would likely be trashed. If it does that on a standard cylinder, I simply get another cylinder from my stash.

I'd be open to muffler mods (especially e-tech) but not much else.

    Help Deciding on a 346xp

Yes, but most of the time when it's not broken, it allows faster cold starts. And much more easily fixed on a 346 vs a 562 if it ever did go bad (been there, done that).

    Help Deciding on a 346xp

Thanks. My land is about 50% hardwoods (beech, maple, black birch, yellow birch, some oak) and the rest is mostly hemlock which goes on a brush pile. I'd be using the 346 for limbing and topping the bigger stuff and hope to use it for up to 12" at the stump for dealing with the whole tree. I...

    Help Deciding on a 346xp

I've been thinking of building up a smaller, lighter saw to tackle 80% of the cutting I do. I have both the 346 OE and 346 NE carcasses to choose from as the basis of my build. I want to keep it to the Husqvarna 346, no other models, no other brands. The build will be strictly stock. I'm not...

Husky 55 AV rubbers removal, help

Yes, I've found that needle nose pliers or channel-locks work well. Grab onto the lip and wiggle the rear handle to get them started.

Husky 55 AV rubbers removal, help

No, this is a Model 55. Four of the same isolator. Your thinking of the 272 family perhaps.
