I've lost some spilttin wedges cuz of blending in. Bright color on hand tools is a great idea.

Every tool I take in the woods is painted blaze orange/florescent except my chainsaws. Shows real good when there is snow on the ground.

I have some blaze orange duct tape, pretty handy too.

Logrite really nailed it with their choice of blue for their tools. I can lean my cant hook against a tree without any fear of losing it.

That color inspired me to paint my choker changes bright blue too. They really stand out against any background. It paid off this spring when a couple of my buddies spotted a dropped chain laying on the ground from 20' away.

Yeah, I don't know how many handles I've replaced in 50 years or so, but it's a bunch. I think this the first one I've cut with a saw.
I have't broke my Fiskers yet, but some of those crooked splits jars the snot outta my hands.

Even though all my woods gear was painted blaze and fluorescent orange our excavator operator managed to bust two of my fuel cans, one axe and one peavey all in one fateful swipe of the bucket when clearing brush. With the boom fully extended he was near 20' from the bucket teeth that did the most damage, the brush likely had a little influence in obscuring his view.
