Finally finished all the saws that I've been working on, so I'm catching up on some bearing maintenance on one of my motos. It's preemptive, so the linkage and swingarm bearings will be fine with just a topping off of Bel Ray marine grease.

I lost the third finger part for my release and when it fell out and so did the pin. Dont have a lathe to make a new pin so next best is the drill press and files. Not the best but it worked. Now got to get used to the 4 finger mode till the parts come in.

Blades from a weed-eater are sharpened with a round file like a chain on a chainsaw?

No pic. Stihl 026 was leaking fuel @ the tank vent.
This one has the duckbill vent. Got a new vent.
Went to install it, the hole in the tank is not flat on the outside of the hole where the vent would go in and seal.
Its also quite thin,, kinda deformed from new.
Put some fuel proof permatex on the vent edge and installed it, not much else you could do.
Same saw was leaking bar oil,, from the bar oil hose where it goes into the tank. Owner said it did it from new.
I dont think the hose was installed all the way in,, I removed it and reinstalled it and the leak stopped.
It was draining the entire tank B4.
Maybe a Monday saw.
