Here's something I have on the bench that I thought folks would find interesting. This is a carburetor off of a mcculloch model 99 two man saw. The saw itself dates back to 1954. Quite an interesting design isn't it? Quite the progress we've made from this to modern carbs. I'm cleaning this one up and then will make a new diaphragm for it as getting a nos one is a nice wish. Also have some pitting in the diaphragm cover to deal with!

It's an aero precision completed lower.Who made the lower? Is it 80% or completed?
I agree. Cost wise you can't beat it and I'm pleased with the fit and finish of these Gen 2'sAero makes some nice stuff.
Nice! Is that going back together with a 7900/7910 top end?View attachment 323169 View attachment 323170 View attachment 323171
I got this 6401 last summer or early fall for $20
Somehow it was missing some case gasket below the muffler and leaked oil through the case when ever it wasn’t upright.
New bearings and case gasket today.
